Baker's Club, Barmer: moving custom cake orders off WhatsApp groups
Written by Ravi Jaipal, founder of Jaipax Studio, who built the system for Baker's Club.

- Bakery
- Baker's Club, Barmer
- Custom orders, first two months
- 300+
- Custom orders now
- 110–120 a month
Where they started
Baker's Club is a multi-outlet bakery in Barmer, Rajasthan. Their outlets and kitchen coordinated custom orders through WhatsApp groups.
They wanted to move from group chats to a more managed, controlled system, where each person has a role and sees the orders they are responsible for. They asked me to build an internal management tool for that.
What we built
I built the system around the way their team already worked, with a separate login for each role:
- Outlet staff enter each custom order once, with the reference photo, weight, flavour, delivery time, message on the cake and advance paid.
- The kitchen gets an alarm for every new order, reviews it, and moves it from queue to baking to ready.
- Riders get a call on their phone when a cake is ready to go to an outlet.
- The owner sees every outlet’s orders, advance collected and balance due in one dashboard.
I also built the bakery’s website.

How it’s going
Baker's Club uses the system every day to manage their custom orders. They crossed 300+ custom orders in the first two months and now handle around 110–120 custom orders a month through it.
When they need a change or run into a problem, they message me directly and I handle it.
Why this matters if you run a bakery
Jaipax OMS wasn’t designed in the abstract. It was built for one real multi-outlet bakery in Rajasthan and is used there every day. After seeing it work at Baker's Club, I made the same system available to other bakeries.
